We in Radyo Natin Guimba-Kabalikat ng Komunidad, believed that celebrating Christmas with our ill-fated kababayan’s are more than considerable in these time of crisis and disaster.

Recent typhoons lessen the agricultural produce in Guimba and losses on the part of farmers create “domino effects” in the economic activities of almost all sectors of the communities. Much affected are the growing landless agri-based sectors such as seasonal farm workers. Almost nothing left for all of them to work for. Hence, these people are facing a bleak Christmas season.

On this view, Operation Damayan: Pamaskong Handog, a gift giving activity of Radyo Natin Guimba, more than ever, got social and moral basis to push on this year.

Again, we call the attention of all Christians and caused oriented individuals, in Guimba and in abroad, as well as government leaders and “wannabe's” in May 2010 election, for a repeated support. About 1,000 families of seasonal farm workers intended to receive a gift pack that need to be solicited before December 22, 2009.

Hopefully every packs consists: ½ kilo of pancit-bihon, ½ kilo of pasta, loaf bread, margarine and 3 kilos of rice.
